Before taking a course in fluency I had never even heard of these types of scams on the internet. But then when I began learning about the severity of stuttering, I thought, "why wouldn't there be these types of scams?" When I Googled "stuttering", the first result was as ad for "Stuttering Treatment-Dramatically Reduce Stuttering". The National Suttering Association was one of the last results, on the other hand. Scams like these make our profession so much harder. Thank you for this informative article. It defintely will be in my archive of resources to give out to fluency clients!
