I have a husband who seems never to fit into any stastistics: The more tired he gets and the less sleep he has, the more fluent he becomes. Other things might completely tongue-tie him, like being in an airport, for example. I think this is one of the things that makes stuttering so fascinating, it works differently for each individual.
