Hi Rebekah. 1) I am not aware of studies about stuttering, apnea, and c-pap machines. The evidence I have comes from my clinical practice. Clientes usually report decrease in stuttering after sleep hygiene measures, c-pap machines, or even surgical procedures (for nasal obstruction, for example). 2) I am also not aware of differences about sleep disorders in developmental or acquired stuttering. Studies about this issue are just beggining, so there is not so much data or evidence available. Sandra
