Hi Rebekah. I have more clients with developmental than with acquired stuttering. But I think sleep problems are common to both groups. In fact, I think sleep problems are common to the general population. See, for example, this paper: “The neurocognitive effects of sleep disruption in children and adolescents” (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19836689 The author says that 25-40% of children and teenagers have sleep problems (sleep deprivation, sleep-disordered breathing, or others conditions). So it seems it is a generalized problem. Sandra
