Very interesting paper! I can definitely see why it is important for everyone, especially people who stutter, to get a good night’s rest. As you stated, sleep deprivation can impair cognitive functions that support speech. If a person does not get enough rest, then their attention and executive functions decrease throughout the day; therefore, affecting their fluency skills. Again, great paper; I enjoyed reading it!
