Ms. Merlo, Thank you for this fascinating article! It gave me a lot to think about as a new graduate student, studying fluency. My school, The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY favors a holistic (synergistic) approach to fluency treatment. I think your findings work well with a holistic view. When attempting to place your findings within this context, I was especially interested that you mentioned the impact that sleep deprivation can have on emotional state. Do you think there is a connection between the theory of right hemisphere dominance in PWS and inadequate sleep hygiene? Thank you for taking the time to answer so many students!
