Hi Caitlin. First of all, you need to know WHY you cannot close your mouth and breathe with your nose. Maybe you have a nasal obstruction (such as rhinitis or nasal septum deviation) and then you cannot adequately breath with your nose; you must go to an otorhinolaringologist to check that. Another possibility is that you have a dental problem that is interfering with occlusion and then you cannot close your mouth; in this case, you must go to a dentist. And, also, you will probably need some speech therapy because the muscles of your face are probably weak and need to be strengthened to successfully get nasal breathing and mouth occlusion. Good luck! Sandra
