Hi Megan - thanks for your post... I'll let others add their experiences, but I can tell you that from my own work, I have found tremendous benefit in these types of strategies (and others)... The kids like having something concrete they can do, and they love the roleplay (not described in detail in this paper, but described elsewhere). Parents and teachers are often pleased to see the child taking more individual responsibility for his/her responses. And, of course, when the bullying diminishes (or stops having an effect), then this is the ultimately good outcome. We described some of this in a case study published in JFD in 2007, and we'll have more examples in our book. Hoping this helps! Thanks again for reading our paper. Scott
