Hi Alyssa - Thanks much for your kind words. I'm afraid it's true that many children are not taught much about stuttering... (That is true for many SLPs, as well...) If the clinician doesn't "get it," then the child probably won't "get it." This can lead to increased problems down the road. The more everybody (including faculty!) can understand about the true experience of stuttering, the better for everybody. Good luck with your training! Scott
