Hi Scott, Bill, Bob and Nina, Wonderful kid-friendly article about dealing with bullies. I will be using this article on Monday with my fluency group. One of my third graders reported being bullied in class. We are in the process of developing a presentation for his class. This article will be an excellent supplement. I have a question: Marilyn Langevin came out with an excellent video: "Teasing and Bullying: Unacceptable Behavior" through ISTAR (possibly 1999/2000?). Do you know if it's been updated in DVD format? VCR's are becoming obsolete in my school district, and I'd love to share this video with my students.
