I think this article provides a wonderful, alternative look on how to approach bullying in children who stutter. I like the idea of having a child act as an "expert." I plan to be an SLS in the schools, and I am well aware that it is important to address social communication in therapy. I think it would be a great idea for teachers to implement projects in which each student is an "expert" and educates his/her classmates (may be great for third/fourth grade). This will provide the client with an opportunity to state that he stutters, and provide information in a discrete manner. Thank you!
