HI Aisha - Yes, this is a great activity. Another of my favorites is to help classroom teachers institute a 'differences day' program, in which they highlight differences between individuals - in a supportive an accepting way... a different difference each time... So, it could be "why do some kids wear glasses?" or "why do some kids have freckles?" or "why do some kids speak with accents (or lisps or stutters)?" or "why do we have different color hair/eyes/skin?" Throughout all of these discussions, the emphasis is on the fact that it's okay that we have these differences. They don't mean that one person is better than another; just different. There are lots of ways we can teach children in this way...and the more children hear this message, the better! Thanks again for your post. S
