What an excellent article for students and children who stutter. I thought the section on "Giving the Facts" was great, and a wonderful way to acknowledge one's own stutter as a part of them, but something that is not their fault. I had a very similar question to Betsy's, which was answered, however I am wondering if most students/children who stutter are open in therapy sessions about being bullied, if perhaps it is happening to them? I know from other situations that many times those who are bullied tend to hide it, therefore missing opportunities to seek help and remediate the problem.
