Hi everyone, that was a very insightful read on how to help children that stutter. Unfortunately, there is a chance that a child that stutters will face obstacles such as bullying, and it is important that he or she can understand how to handle the situation. This article is also very helpful for me as a graduate student for Speech-Language Pathology, as it helps me understand how to help a child that may be facing these obstacles. "Acknowledging the stutter" and reminding the child that "you are the expert" seem key for a child who stutters.
