Thank you for your great article! I like the ideas of taking three steps to deal with bullies, especially the second step: give the facts about stuttering. However, I believe educating people on stuttering is not an easy one. Not only "bullying" but "indifference to bullying" can hurt kids with stuttering. For instance, the homeroom teacher does not understand how deeply this kid is hurt by the bullies, though she/he knows what is going on. It might take a lot of courage for the kid to go up to the teacher and educate her/him about stuttering. Is there any effective way to get a teacher's support in this case?
