Hello! Thank you for this article; the topic of bullying is potently relevant for all children who appear to be different, including children who stutter. Your solutions are very empowering for any child who stutters and knows it is not their fault. As a future SLP I would like to know, how common is it for a child who stutters to be bullied by their own family? ( e.g. Verses teasing as was for mentioned in your article). I know this may not be a common occurrence, but how can we as the SLPs, be a support for a child who is being bullied by their siblings or extended family? Additionally, how can we help the child and enlighten the family to their bullying behavior? Thank you for your time!
