I really enjoyed reading this article. I think that most important piece you addressed was the "You are the Expert!" section. I think that increasing knowledge about any differences is very important. People won't put down or acknowledge things as much that they are familiar with. I think the lack of understanding or something that is beyond their realm of familiarity is what causes bullying. My question is, do you think that even after we most recently have heard a lot of bullying stories and parents and teacher have become more readily avaiable, that kids are actually saying more? Or do you think a lot is still left unaddressed and unaware to the adults who could help solve the situation?
