Nice to meet you  I am a communication disorders graduate student at Minnesota State University, Mankato (currently taking a course with Judy Kuster). I am hoping to become a speech-language pathologist! I love working with children. I am currently a nanny for a 5 year old (who has autism) and a 3 year old. I love my job  hmm…vegetable question….I’m going to go with a tomato. Why? Why is a good question…maybe because people still aren’t sure if they are a fruit or a vegetable (I like the mystery of it). They are a vegetable…hence why I picked tomato. And people seem to love them or hate them (not much in between). There are also many different varieties and sizes! I appreciate you sharing with me the challenges that you have faced. We all will face challenges (getting through grad school being one of them!), but I think that seeing that you have made it through all of yours, it lets me know that I will be able to deal with any challenges that come my way. Whether it be with my future career or outside of it. You have also made me realize that challenges are good; they make us work harder and push us to be our best. Again, I really appreciate you sharing!
