Great article Ryan. A consolidation of thought. For me personally as a PWS who has undergone therapy and also a private technique the choice to not bother using technique shortly after was a personal one. I think for me therapt was more a confidence boost that i needed in life and a wake up call to the real world beyond. I choose not to use technique almost purely because I have too many other things to focus on and my speech is not a life changer for me. For others I can understand the flip side. Although most therapies and techniques are very speech focused I think it is important to understand the differing individual needs which draws people to them. I like the fact that modern stuttering treatments are beginning to views stuttering beyond an issue of speech. Good job
