Joseph Sheehan didnt believe that it is possible to suppress the natural tendency to stutter.I think that there are people that can live like that (maybe by adopting new identity or by managing well despite the fear to stutter, that will come back) ,but for a lot of people it is impossible and the relapse is a matter of time.
