I thoroughly enjoyed reading your article. It gave me some great information that I never thought of before. My initial thought was “why wouldn’t someone want to become a fluent speaker”? But after reading your paper it makes perfect sense that change is scary, even if it is for the good. My question is, in your experience, do you find that relapse occurs in any certain type of individual over others? For instance, have you found that relapse is more common with a certain personality type or age of individual?
