If you’re referring to speech restructuring therapy in which clients learn to speak in a different way, then, yes, there certainly are clients who are happy with the naturalness of their fluency after leaving treatment. Typically, these clients tend to be those whose overt stuttering was milder to being with (i.e., less tension, fewer and shorter disfluencies). Perhaps it’s because the difference between their pre- and post-therapy speech is not that dramatic. However, that’s not always the case, and more overtly severe clients can also be happy with the naturalness of their fluency after treatment.
