In terms of stuttering relapse, I always thought it only happen when a client loses confidence in their fluency and becomes worst. Though after reading this article it made me realize that is not the case. It makes sense though for PWS who have gotten use to living with their stuttering, to relapse after a successful stuttering therapy. After all, stuttering has become part of their identity. I know you mention that you relapse as well, do you tell your clients this when you first meet them, or not? Do you try to explain to them how their lie will change if they have a successful stuttering therapy?
