Great question, Megan. Many PWS leaving formal treatment find that continued involvement in self-help groups such as NSA can be very helpful. Such groups can provide a person with a venue to talk about challenges that may come up and/or continue to hone and practice their skills. This can help to lessen the chance of relapse, or make relapse easier to deal with if and when it does occur.
