Interesting article! I think that often people view stuttering therapy as simply teaching techniques/strategies to improve fluency and expecting client's to use them outside of therapy. I am curious if you think the client's sense of control over their speech impacts their chances of relapse and/or their reluctance to use strategies in everyday speech? Also, do you think having "control" over their speech is a matter of choice?
