This article presented an interesting perspective, one that I have never even taken into account. I am a person who does not stutter but I have never identified myself as being part of the "fluent community." I wouldn't assume that PWS hold on so tightly to being disfluent that once they are fluent they suffer an identity crisis. Have you personally seen this occuring in clients you have worked with?
