Ryan, You and the other posters have contributed so much, I hardly know where to begin. I like how self-actualization and behavior modification concepts have been intertwined into the picture of addressing the needs of PWS. This question goes to you and Pam, and others that mentioned self-acceptance...do you find that as you've become more "self-actualized" that you are more fluent? or not? I come from a behavioral sciences and health education background, currently in grad school to start my 2nd career as an SLP -- I am surprised that there is not more formal counseling training in our curriculum -- are you aware of any movement to add this component to graduate programs for SLPs?
