This paper was so informative for me not only as a student majoring in Speech Language Pathology but also as an individual with a sibling that stutters. I have always been exposed to complaints about stuttering but never have I heard the idea that stuttering is more meaningful than fluency. After reading this paper I can now understand why some PWS choose to accept their speech and not continue with techniques developed in therapy, this decision is important and takes much confidence.
