Thank you for writing this article. It helped me to view therapy in a different light, looking beyond the techniques and going beneath the surface. My clinical supervisor has been teaching us about what he calls the "iceberg" theory, where 1/8ths of the issue is on the surface and 7/8ths is below it. However, I never thought of after therapy, and reconstructing a person's view of living their life as a fluent speaker. Its something I want to address with future clients, and I want to thank you for bringing it to my attention.
