Glad you got something useful out of my paper, Kasey! Just FYI: the iceberg analogy is very apt and useful for most clients, but be careful in assuming that it will apply to everyone. There are some PWS (a minority, but some) who will not have many of those negative thoughts and emotions “below the surface.” Not everyone who stutters experiences shame, fear, frustration, loneliness, etc., and certainly PWS don’t experience them to the same degree. Always take the time to get to know the client before assuming that hidden features predominate :)
