Hi Ellen – thank you so much. I look forward to hearing your thoughts when you read the book. I interviewed a couple of people in England (one of which was Michael Palin) but I decided that I needed to conduct my research abroad and America appealed because of the country’s strong research and my own dual citizenship. I chose to leave England because I wanted to do my research with fresh eyes and ears, I believed that in England I would be stifled by my own preconceptions.
