Christina – Wow, that is a brilliant question, and a very difficult one to answer. I learnt so much on that trip, and in the years since. One of the most interesting pieces was my realization that stuttering could be an asset. As a kid I believed that my life would be perfect if I didn’t stutter. I never considered that my stutter might make me better. Through meeting other incredibly successful stutterers I realized that I could excel in a field not simply in spite of my stutter, but because of it.
