More from me here that really is not part of Tim's question, but is related. Our work has shown that public attitudes toward cluttering are no better (and possibly even worse) than for stuttering. We have investigated this in five different countries and languages so far with roughly the same results. And in a recent study from Norway, colleagues have shown that this effect occurs when respondents consider only stuttering, only cluttering, or both stuttering and cluttering. Another study is currently ongoing, and it will be interesting to see what happens there. As for prevalence of cluttering, there is very little hard data anywhere. Hopefully in a year or two, I'll be able to say more about that. Ken
