Dear Gunar, There has been an increasing movement in our field to incorporate cognitive behavior therapy, in some form, with traditional speech therapy for stuttering, and for that matter, for other speech and language disorders. Stuttering is not the only disorder that results in the development of negative feelings and emotions. If you search the various journals in which SLPs publish as well as current textbooks on stuttering, you will find many articles referencing the integration of such therapies in stuttering treatment. Best regards, Lynne
