Paul, The data indicates that the prevalence of stuttering is higher in almsot all other disorder/difference groups (except eafness/hearing impaired). Therefore, we would expect (and generally do find) higher levels of stuttering in cases of Down Syndrome and most other conditions that have an impact on cognition/learning.
