Hi Tom. My crystal ball is currently at the shop for repairs, so I'll leave to others to predict the future. <smile> I will, however, say that, so far as I know, no one yet has undertaken a longitudinal study of public attitudes that goes on more than a few months. One thing that would have hampered such a study in the past was the lack of a widely-accepted measure of public attitudes that had been shown to be reliable, valid, translatable to other languages, relatively free of cultural bias, and so on. I have collaborated with many, many colleagues around the world to develop such a measure, the POSHA-S. So far, it seems to have achieved its purpose. In fact, one of the next things I intend to do is to make plans for such a long term study of public attitudes. Wish me luck, and stay tuned a few years... Ken
