Gary: Thanks for sharing your story. I liked your analogy about the marks on the wall for measuring changes in height. Even though I do not stutter, I can appreciate the fact that change is often subtle (and gradual). It often isn’t until we pause to reflect that we realize how far we have moved in one direction or another. I am also heartened to hear of your journey as a communicator and of how far you have come. I hope it provides inspiration for others who stutter who are in earlier stages of their journey and who haven’t put as quite as many marks on the wall as you. Thanks again!
