Hi Ellie, I had a little computer glitch when I responded to you a few minutes ago--so I'm posting it again. Thank you for your comments and your interest in taking the Stocker Probe of the shelf. Yes, The Stocker Probe can be useful when determining where the breakdown in fluency may occur. I just used it the other day with a preschooler who loved the manipulatives. It was a great way to get him talking and see how language complexity (especially for telling a story) impacted his fluency. I agree with you--many thanks to the authors of this test.
