I found it very interesting that you considered your life to be "filled with many very small traumas" as a result of your stutter. The association between stuttering and trauma is a theory that is new to me but makes perfect sense. When reflecting on your article it seems clear that similar treatment may be beneficial to someone with PTSD as to someone with a stutter. By exploring the emotions associated with stuttering, patterns between individuals will emerge. This will allow for improved treatment, in combination with speech therapy.
