David and colleagues. It was so very pleasing to read about your experiences and the reactions of the students and your hosts. When you are in a position to repeat the International experience I suggest Russia and Poland, looking at the work of the Arlilia Stuttering Correction Center. Their combined treatments including breaking done the existing stuttering speech state; rebuilding a new speech state and new behavior / mindset habits using physiotherapy, dance, changing vocal habits, relaxation, meditation etc are very good examples of thinking 'outside the box'. They have gone through years of learning curves, modifying / eliminating / refining. They have been using their existing ways for sometime now. It would be good if we could offer the option of their thinking to PWS in the West who were interested and wanted to assert in the years ahead 'I stutter no more' (the name of their book they gave away at the IFA congress in July. David, very good to read this. It is an excellent example of where with open questioning minds we can build better ways for professionals to help people who stutter around the world. Both the ISA and the IFA are International Associations. I hope both of us can increase our effectiveness world wide. . Looking forward to seeing you in Holland in 2013, if not before. Keith
