Hi Keith, Thank you for your kind words. There are few people who have made as regular contributions to the international community of people with fluency disorders as you have. I too was impressed in Tours, France (summer 2012) when I met the clinicians from the Arlilia Center. I have read their book and am looking forward to hearing more from you about your experiences and impressions resulting from your visit there. I agree that maintaining an open mind is absolutely essential to the international experience. We have so much to learn. I am convinced that at every moment, we are all teachers and we are all learners, whether or not we realize at the moment what is happening. The “box” is there for a good reason, but outside sometimes can be an even better place. Truly I appreciate your openness. Keep thinking; keep questioning. I look forward to working with you and many other devoted individuals to build bridges between the International Fluency Association (IFA), International Stuttering Association (ISA), International Cluttering Association (ICA), and many other organizations that are committed to the community of people with fluency disorders. Kindly, David
