I really liked it. When I adapt it I will use a couple small changes: 1) In figure 1, I would add on the far left had side talking to myself looking in mirror, and even further left talking to myself without even looking in the mirror. Why? So as to emphasize over and over and over again that there is inherently nothing wrong with his or her ability to speak except that there is some self-talk or what expectation that tends to sabotage the speech (it is amazing how much the children can understand about the concepts of self-talk and self full-filling prophecy). 2) Because everything that has to do with stuttering occurs with such a maddening and nauseating inconsistency in interpreting Fig #3 and Fig #4 I would ask if the result was what the little client expected typically or was it a one of a kind occurence.
