Your message was very empowering. I have began to see how the processes work in schools and other placements and have had a little taste of how different systems are set up, some more efficient than others. The communication aspect is so key to varying parties within each system and I have found roles of groups members truly overlap to be successful for the betterment of the client. I truly believe in your ideas of communication, with parents, caregivers, teachers, etc., to tap into their child's or loved one's feelings, emotions, and underlying thoughts. There is so much more than what is being performed or written on paper about an individual. As a first-year student in a Master's program, I really do appreciate your words.
