Alan, nice to hear from you, and thank-you for sharing here a bit of your history that serves as a potent illustration to two key messages of "Why Seek Therapy," namely that speech therapy may not be the most helpful experience for adults with stuttering problems and that it is by taking time to know ourselves and to investigate available options that we may find a path most suitable for us.
