As a Graduate Student going for Speech and Language Pathology, I'm always looking for helpful therapy hints. What can you suggest if a new client who stutters comes into your office and they have had no previous therapy? You stressed in your paper to listen and ask what worked/what didn't work and why.. but if they've never had therapy before how can a SLP avoid becoming on of those clinicians that tries a therapy treatment that just doesn't work, or only works for a little while?
