I found this article interesting. A question crossed my mind when I read this article. It is a natural tendency for all of us in general to use calming techniques when we are anxious. Do such strategies, that are usually self taught, not work for people who stutter i.e. being able to calm themselves down on their own to be able to produce a more fluent speech?
