Thank you for sharing your story. It is hard to believe how mean children can be when someone is different from them. I’m glad you were able to gain confidence and be so successful! As a future school SLP, I want to be aware of what my students go through both in and out of the classroom. Do you think there are ways to educate peers of children who stutter to prevent bullying? Or would addressing the issue just draw more unwanted attention to them?
