Dale, I found your story to be very compelling and inspiring! I am an undergraduate who is majoring in speech, language and hearing sciences and am currently enrolled in a Fluency Disorders class. I've learned a lot about the different tactics that PWS use in their every day lives to help cover up their stuttering. While I was listening to your presentation, I was able to relate what I've been learning in class to some of your strategies. I loved all the humor you used in this presentation and was just wondering, has humor ever been something that you leaned on when it came to your stuttering? Also, how did you eventually become comfortable with the fact that you stuttered, was there any specific event that helped you? And one last question, what inspired you to become a speech pathologist? Once again, thank you for sharing your story! It's great to hear an expert speak about their own struggles with stuttering, it's truly inspiring! Sincerely, Kayleigh Ash
