I really enjoyed this article! You offered great advice for clinicians. I am a SLP graduate student, currently enrolled in the fluency course. Like you mentioned, our class has talked about how so many clinicians feel underprepared to work with PWS. I have been lucky enough to have worked with 2 clients who stutter (both an adult and a school-age child). I have learned so much about stuttering from them! My question for you is... have you come across many school-age children who stutter that view therapy negatively and you felt that therapy should not continue (at least for the time being)? Our class has talked about how there is a "certain age" when children are no longer young enough to participate in therapy because their parents are requiring them to but not old enough to seek out therapy on their own. You talk about how stuttering therapy can seem like such a challenge, so how do you conquer it when the client is this age in school and uninterested in therapy? Thanks!!
