Megan; This is a topic near to my heart, being in the public schools for all of my professional career. While more concentrated, individual therapy for each child on our workloads would be what we would like to do in an ideal world, in the real world, it is not always possible. So, the fact is, that with an experienced and "flexible" clinician, therapy can be done well in a group setting. The truth is, language groups provide ample opportunity for a lot of communication. That is what stuttering therapy is...communication therapy with a twist toward stuttering :). As an assistant, hope your supervisory SLP was able to provide you with effective lesson plans that capitalized on the opportunities in this scenario! THanks for participating!
